Inspired to learn the ancient arts of Yoga and bodywork from its source, I ventured myself into living in India and Thailand. Ten years passed by!
The journey started in India, where I practiced under the guidance of Yogacharya M.V. Chidananda and two years later completed the Asthanga Vinyasa Teacher Training Course. Studied Pranayama under BNS Iyengar, Mysore’s living legendary Yoga Teacher, a direct student of Krishnamacharya. Participated in workshops with a senior student of Sri K. Patthabi Jois, Mark Darby. Also in intensive courses with Swami Rudraji from Yoga Study Center in Rishikesh, a Senior Student of BKS Iyengar, and completed my training in Internal Yoga and Yoga Therapy at Swami Krishnananda Hatha Yoga Vidyapeeth. I also attended extensive meditation retreats in Nepal, Sri Lanka, and India. Recently I've completed a 3-year Diploma in Naturopathy and Yogic Science granted by govt. of India. In Thailand, I took Traditional Thai Massage courses at The Sunshine Network and The Old Medicine Hospital, and deepened my knowledge as a student of Ajarn Pichest, best known living Thai Massage master. Learned abdominal massage Chi Nei Tsang and other ancient techniques with Dr. Nooy from The Sirichan Clinic in Chiang Mai.
I worked as an Intructor at Yoga Mandira and later at Kushi Yoga Foundation in Mysore. I also conducted Yoga classes at the Krishnanandda Hatha Yoga Shala in Mysore and Delhi and delivered yoga workshops in Rishikesh. Spent 2 years as an apprentice of Master Ringo Paonam at the prestigious Bone and Body Clinic, where, among others, I conducted one-on-one breathwork sessions with patients with outstanding results. I was honored to travel to many countries sharing this knowledge through workshops, classes, and private sessions.
With a background as a dive instructor and free diver, I've understood the importance of expanding our breathing capacity and I could experience the impact of training the breath on our energy levels, clarity of mind, and overall awareness. As a Yoga instructor, I learned to refine the techniques and understood in a broader and deeper way the science of breath.
I hope to make this knowledge easily asequible to all.
